Christmas With the Missionaries

Christmas for the missionaries was held on Preparation day, December 22nd.  After we made the cards for the investigators we did a little white elephant exchange and dinner.  The dinner menu included ham, cheesy potatoes, carribean salad, rolls, and cheesecake.  Then we watched their one movie they are allowed to see a year.  They chose "How to Train Your Dragon 2."  It was a hard choice and took a little while for them to come to a consensus.  Here is Sister Lapides holding her white elephant.
Sister Hendricks got a coconut teddy bear purse.
Elder Jeppson with his cold hard cash.  His white elephant was money frozen in this tub.
Elder Little with his various white elephant assortment.

Elder Goddard and I decided it might be fun to throw some more gifts in the mix and bought some Tobago souvenirs.

On Christmas Eve day the six of us went caroling to their investigators, less active members and members of the branch.  Christmas day we had several dinner appointments and in the afternoon, the highlight of their Christmas, they were each able to Skype with their families.
