Christmas Dinner With The Cupids

Eleven of the thirteen missionaries on St. Vincent shared Christmas Lunch with the Cupids.  Brother Cupid for weeks has been reminding us about coming and that he was going to kill his pig for dinner. When so many of the missionaries came, he was overjoyed saying this was the best Christmas ever!!

The meal included the traditional St. Vincent fare.....rice, pork or chicken, boiled plantains, sweet potato, macaroni pie, cabbage salad, pigeon peas and ginger beer (like root beer) to drink.

Caroling with the Missionaries

Christmas Eve Christmas Card and Cookie Making

The sisters made these cards to give to their investigators during the elections when all missionaries had to stay inside.
The Elders came Christmas Eve Morning and made their cards.  I was quite impressed with their creativity.  Here are a few samples.

Elder Lameta from Samoa makes hamburgers and fries for everyone for lunch.
Elder Lindsey, Elder Powell and Elder Mikesell decorate Christmas cookies.....and sample them to make sure they are good.  :)
Happy Birthday Elder Lindsey.  Today is his 19th birthday.
Elder Tulikihakau is our zone leader.  He is from Tonga.

Cards are made, cookies decorated, we are ready to go caroling.
